BrahMos Air Launched Missile Test: সুখোই যুদ্ধবিমান থেকে আরও বর্ধিত পাল্লার ব্রহ্মস মিসাইলের সফল পরীক্ষা চালাল ভারত
সুখোই-৩০ এমকেআই যুদ্ধবিমান (Su-30 MKI Fighter Aircraft) থেকে আরও বর্ধিত পাল্লার (Extended Range) ব্রহ্মস মিসাইলের (BrahMos Air Launched Missile) সফল পরীক্ষা চালাল ভারত। বায়ুসেনা জানিয়েছে, বিমান থেকে উৎক্ষেপণটি পরিকল্পনা মতো হয়েছে এবং মিসাইলটি বঙ্গোপসাগর অঞ্চলে নির্ধারিত লক্ষ্যবস্তুতে সরাসরি আঘাত হানে। এই প্রথম সুখোই বিমান থেকে ব্রহ্মস মিসাইলের এক্সটেন্ডেড রেঞ্জ সংস্করণের প্রথম উৎক্ষেপণ। এর মাধ্যমে বায়ুসেনা সুখোই যুদ্ধবিমান থেকে খুব দীর্ঘ পরিসরে স্থল ও সমুদ্রে থাকা লক্ষ্যবস্তুতে নির্ভুল হামলা চালানোর ক্ষমতা অর্জন করেছে। বায়ুসেনা জানিয়েছে, সুখোই-৩০ এমকেআই বিমানের উচ্চ পারফরম্যান্সের সঙ্গে মিসাইলের বর্ধিত পাল্লার ক্ষমতা তাদের কৌশলগতভাবে এগিয়ে দেবে।
