Electric Bus: ইলেকট্রিক বাসে ছেয়ে যাবে দেশ, ২০২৭ সালে ভারতের রাস্তায় ছুটবে ৫০ হাজার ই বাস!
খোদ দেশের রাজধানী শহরের বায়ুদূষণের মাত্রা গোটা বিশ্বের কাছে মাথা হেঁট করছে। আর বায়ুদূষণের পিছনে বড় ভূমিকা নেয় গণপরিবহন।
দূষণ সমস্যায় জর্জরিত ভারত। খোদ দেশের রাজধানী শহরের বায়ুদূষণের মাত্রা গোটা বিশ্বের কাছে মাথা হেঁট করছে। আর বায়ুদূষণের পিছনে বড় ভূমিকা নেয় গণপরিবহন। যে কারণে কেন্দ্র সরকারের পরিকল্পনা গোটা দেশের বড়, মাঝারি শহরগুলিতে ইলেকট্রিক বাসে ছেয়ে দেওয়া। ইলেকট্রিক বাস শহরের দূষণ অনেকটাই কমিয়ে দেয়।
যে কারণে ভারতের রাস্তায় ২০২৭ সালের মধ্যে ৫০ হাজার ইলেকট্রিক বাস চালানোর পরিকল্পনা নিয়েছে কেন্দ্র। মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের আর্থিক পদ্ধতির সাহায্য নিয়ে এই ই বাসগুলি চালানো হবে। ভারতে ই-যানের জনপ্রিয়তা ক্রমশ বাড়ছে। দিল্লি, মুম্বই, কলকাতার মত মেট্রো শহরগুলিতে ইলেকট্রিক স্কুটার, ই বাইক কেনার ব্যাপক উতসাহ দেখা গিয়েছে।
