আজ সকালে নতুন ইংরেজি বছরের সূচনা। তাই বছরের প্রথম দিনে ভক্তদের ঢল ঘাটে। সকলেই গঙ্গা স্নান সেরে শুরু করতে চলেছেন নতুন বছরের প্রথম দিনের।
ভারতের উত্তরাখণ্ড প্রদেশের হরিদ্বারে গঙ্গার তীরবর্তী একটি বিখ্যাত ঘাট হর কি পৌরি।সমুদ্র মন্থনের পর বিষ্ণুর বাহন গরুড় যখন কলসিতে করে অমৃত নিয়ে উড়ে যাচ্ছিলেন তখন অমৃতের একটি ফোঁটা ঠিক এখানেই পড়ে বলে ধরা বিশ্বাস করা হয়। হর কি পৌরি ঘাট তাই প্রতিদিন হাজারো মানুষের গঙ্গা স্নানের প্রত্যক্ষদর্শী। আজ সকালে নতুন ইংরেজি বছরের সূচনা। তাই বছরের প্রথম দিনে ভক্তদের ঢল ঘাটে। সকলেই গঙ্গা স্নান সেরে শুরু করতে চলেছেন নতুন বছরের প্রথম দিনের। দেখুন সেই ছবি-
