Jaishankar)। গত ৭ মার্চ থেকে ৯ মার্চ পর্যন্ত চলে এই কর্মসূচি। সফর শেষে জাপানের প্রধানমন্ত্রী ফুমিও কিশিদাকে (Fumio Kishida) শুভেচ্ছাবার্তা দিয়েছিলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। দুই দেশের বৈঠকে ভারত-জাপানের বিশেষ কৌশলগত সম্পর্ক এবং বৈশ্বিক অংশীদারিত্ব নিয়ে আলোচনা হয় এবং দুই দেশের মধ্যে শক্তি এবং সম্পর্ক আরও কীভাবে উন্নত করা যায় সেই নিয়েও কথাবার্তা হয়। এই সফর চলাকালীন প্রয়াত জাপানের প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শিনজো আবের (Shinzo Abe) পরিবারের সঙ্গে দেখা করেন জয়শঙ্কর এবং তাঁদের প্রতি সমবেদনার জানাতে প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদীর লেখা চিঠি দেন।
