ফেব্রুয়ারির প্রথম দিন চলতি আর্থবর্ষের বাজেট করবেন কেন্দ্রীয় অর্থমন্ত্রী নির্মলা সীতারামণ (Nirmala Sitharaman)। এ বছরের বাজেটে যাতে গ্যাসের দাম কমে, সে বিষয়ে সওয়াল করলেন মুম্বইতে (Mumbai) ক্যান্টিন চালানো এক মহিলা। অনিতা রেধেকার নামে ওই মহিলা বলেন, গ্যাসের দাম বর্তমানে আকাশছোঁয়া। যদি কোনও মহিলার দুই সন্তান থাকে এবং তাঁর প্রত্যেক মাসে রোজগার ১১ হাজার হয়, তাহলে তিনি কীভাবে ওই দাম দিয়ে সিলিন্ডার কিনবেন? যেভাবে গ্যাসের দাম বাড়ছে প্রতি নিয়ত, তাতে তা মধ্যবিত্ত এবং নিম্নবিত্তের নাগালের বাইরে চলে যাচ্ছে বলে মন্তব্য করেন ওই মহিলা।
