স্ট্যাচু অফ ইউনিটিকে (Statue of Unity) 'ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিষ্ময়' বলে মন্তব্য করলেন মাইক্রোসফটের সহ প্রতিষ্ঠাতা বিল গেটস (Bill Gates)। বর্তমানে ভারতে রয়েছেন তিনি। আর দিনকয়েক হল গুজরাট সফরে বেরিয়েছেন তিনি। গতকাল আরোগ্য বনে ঘুরে তিনি গিয়েছেন বর্তমান সময়ে গুজরাটের অন্যতম আকর্ষণ স্ট্যাচু অফ ইউনিটি দেখতে। সেখানে ঘুরে তিনি সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদির (Narendra Modi) উদ্দেশ্যে লেখেন, ধন্যবাদ আমাকে আমন্ত্রণ জানানোর জন্য। স্ট্যাচু অফ ইউনিটি দেখে আমি অভিভূত। এটা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিষ্ময়ের থেকে কম থেকে কম কিছু নয়। সর্দার প্যাটেলকে (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel) সম্মান জানানোর জন্য এই আবিস্কারের থেকে আর বড় কিছু হতেই পারে না।
