২৪ ঘন্টার মধ্যে বিহারে বিভিন্ন জেলায় ডুবে মৃত ৯ জন। যার মধ্যে নালন্দা এলাকায় গণেশ পুজোর বিসর্জন দিতে গিয়ে ডুবে যায় ২ নাবালিকা। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে রহুই ব্লকের কাছে সোসান্ডি গ্রামে। ঘটনার পরপরই অনুষ্ঠানের পর্ব পাল্টে যায় বিষাদে।
মৃতরা হলেন যথাক্রমে জুলি কুমারী এবং জ্যোতি কুমারী। মৃত ২ জন আরও ৩ জনের সঙ্গে ডোমিনিয়া পুকুরে বিসর্জনের জন্য গিয়েছিলেন। কিন্তু বিসর্জন দেওয়ার সময় তারা ডুবে যায় বলে জানা গেছে।
