Azaan Row: ২ থেকে আড়াই মিনিটের আজান শব্দদূষণের মাত্রা অতিক্রম করে না, নাগপুর জামা মসজিদের চেয়ারম্যান
আজান বিতর্ক (Azaan Row) নিয়ে তোলবাড় মহারাষ্ট্র। এমএসএন প্রধান রাাজ ঠাকরে বলেছিলেন, মাইকে আজান বন্ধ নাহলে মসজিদের সামনে মাইক লাগিয়ে হনুমান চলিসা চালানো হবে।

এদিকে আজান বিতর্কে জল ঢেলে নাগপুর জামা মসজিদের চেয়ারম্যান মহম্মদ হাফিজুর রহমান বলেন (Md Hafizur Rahman, Chairman, Jama Masjid Nagpur), "সর্বোচ্চ ২-২ মিনিট ৫০ সেকেন্ডের মধ্যে আজান সীমাবদ্ধ। আজানের শব্দ সীমার মধ্যেই থাকে এবং কখনওই শব্দদূষণের আওতাতে আসে না। বরং অন্যান্য অনুষ্ঠানে অনেক বেশি গোলমাল হয়ে থাকে। মসজিদ একটি ধর্মীয় স্থান আর আজান হল এক ধরণের ঘোষণা"
