নয়াদিল্লিঃ অসমে (Assam) ভয়াবহ বন্যা (Flood) পরিস্থিতি। অবিরাম বৃষ্টির (Heavy Rain) জেরে ফুঁসছে ব্রহ্মপুত্র বরাক সহ অন্যান্য শাখানদী। বিপদসীমার উপর দিয়ে বইছে কামপুরের কপিলি নদী। বন্যার কবলে অসমের ১৪ টি জেলা। গতকাল, ভূমিধসের জেরে মৃত্যু হয়েছে পাঁচজনের। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে করিমগঞ্জেরর (Karimganj ) বাদারপুর এলাকায়। ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ১৫ জেলার ১.৬১১ লক্ষ মানুষ। রাজ্য বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা কর্তৃপক্ষের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, আগামীতে বন্যা পরিস্থিতির আরও খারাপ হওয়ার আশঙ্কা করে বিভিন্ন এলাকার মানুষদের উদ্ধার করে নিরাপদ স্থানে নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছে।
