এনসিসি প্রশিক্ষণের নাম করে অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশের কলেজে র্যাগিংয়ের (Ragging) ঘটনা নিয়ে যখন তোলপাড় শুরু হয়েছে, সেই সময় YSR কংগ্রেস এবং তেলুগু দেশম পার্টির (TDP) মধ্যে জোর তরজা শুরু হয়েছে। অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশের কলেজের র্যাগিংয়ের ভিডিয়ো পোস্ট করে ওই ঘটনার জন্য তেলুগু দেশম পার্টির বিরুদ্ধে তোপ দাগে YSR কংগ্রেস। যদিও YSR কংগ্রেসের দাবিকে নস্যাৎ করে টিডিপির মন্ত্রী বলেন, যে ভিডিয়ো ভাইরাল হয়েছে, তা ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসের। ওই সময় টিডিপি ক্ষমতায় আসেনি। গত জুনে টিডিপি অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশে ক্ষমতা দখল করেছে। টিডিপি ক্ষমতায় এসে অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশের (Andhra Pradesh) আইন শৃঙ্খলা পরিস্থিতি শোধরানোর চেষ্টা করছে বলে দাবি করেন চন্দ্রবাবু নায়ডু মন্ত্রিসভার সদস্য অনিতা ভাঙ্গালাপুডি।
