কংগ্রেস থেকে ৬ বছরের জন্য সাসপেন্ড করা হয় আচার্য্য প্রমোদ কৃষ্ণনমকে
কংগ্রেস থেকে বহিষ্কারের পর মুখ খুললেন আচার্য্য প্রমোদ কৃষ্ণনম। তিনি জানান, "কংগ্রেস দলের নেওয়া বহু সিদ্ধান্তে আমি একমত নয়, যেমন ৩৭০ ধারার অবরোধ করা, কংগ্রেসের এটা অবরোধ করা উচিত হয়নি। কংগ্রেসের ডিএমকে কে সমর্থন করা উচিত হয়নি যখন তারা সনাতন ধর্মকে ডেঙ্গু এবং মশার সঙ্গে তুলনা করেছে"।
কিছুদিন আগেই রাম মন্দিরকে নিয়ে মোদীর প্রশংসা করেন আচার্য্য প্রমোদ কৃষ্ণনম। নিয়ম নীতিগত কারণে প্রমোদ কৃষ্ণনমকে ৬ বছরের জন্য সাসপেন্ড করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয় কংগ্রেসের তরফে।
