নয়াদিল্লিঃ প্রজাতন্ত্র দিবসে(Republic Day) ডঃ ডি আর আম্বেদকরের মূর্তি ভাঙাকে কেন্দ্র করে উত্তপ্ত পঞ্জাবের অমৃতসর। ইতিমধ্যেই সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় (Social Media)ভাইরাল(Viral) মূর্তি ভাঙার ভিডিয়ো(Video)। ভাইরাল ভিডিয়োতে দেখা যাচ্ছে, মূর্তি বেয়ে উপরে উঠছেন এক যুবক। এরপর হাতুড়ির আঘাতে মূর্তি ভাঙার চেষ্টা করছেন তিনি। কী কারণে এমন কাজ করেছেন তিনি তা যদিও এখনও অজানা। ইতিমধ্যেই তাঁকে চিহ্নিত করে আটক করেছে পুলিশ। জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ চলছে।এই বিষয়ে অমৃতসরের সাংসদ গুরজিৎ সি আউজিলা বলেন, “বাবা রাও আম্বেদকরের মূর্তি ভাঙার ঘটনার তীব্র নিন্দা জানাই। সরকারের কাছে আমার আবেদন রইল, এই ঘটনার সঙ্গে যারা জড়িত তাদের যেন কঠিন শাস্তি পায়।”
