Liver donate: নিজের লিভার বাবাকে দান করে জীবন বাঁচল মেয়ে
বাবাকে নিজের লিভার দিয়ে বাঁচল ২১ বছরের উত্তর প্রদেশের এক তরুণী। গাজিয়াবাদের ৫১ বছরের সব্জী বিক্রেতা গুরুতর অসুস্থ হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছিলেন।
বাবাকে নিজের লিভার দিয়ে বাঁচল ২১ বছরের উত্তর প্রদেশের এক তরুণী। গাজিয়াবাদের ৫১ বছরের সব্জী বিক্রেতা গুরুতর অসুস্থ হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছিলেন। ডাক্তাররা তার পরিবারের সদস্যদের জানান, রোগীকে লিভার দান না করা হলে তিনি মারা যাবেন। এরপরই বাবাকে বাঁচাতে নিজের লিভার বা দান করে মেয়ে।
গত ১৫ মে লখনৌয়ের কিং জর্জ মেডিক্যাল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে সফলভাবে মেয়ের লিভার তার বাবার দেহে প্রতিস্থাপন করা হয়। মেয়েটি তার বাবাকে বাঁচাতে পরীক্ষায় বসতে পারেনি। পলিটিক্যাল সায়েন্সে বিএ (অনার্স) পড়া মেয়েটির পড়াশোনায় একটা বছর নষ্ট হল। কিন্তু নিজের বাবার জীবন বাঁচিয়ে সবার কাছে উদাহরণ হয়ে থাকল।
