ভারতে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট ও বিভিন্ন রাজ্যের হাইকোর্ট মিলিয়ে মোট ১১১ জন মহিলা বিচারপতি বর্তমানে নিযুক্ত আছেন।
Women Judges: ভারতে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট ও বিভিন্ন রাজ্যের হাইকোর্ট মিলিয়ে মোট ১১১ জন মহিলা বিচারপতি বর্তমানে নিযুক্ত আছেন। লোকসভাকে এমন তথ্যই কেন্দ্রীয় আইন মন্ত্রক। এই তথ্য দেখা যাচ্ছে কলকাতা হাইকোর্টে ৮ জন মহিলা বিচারপতি আছেন।
ভারতে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট ও হাই কোর্ট মিলিয়ে যেখানে মোট ভারতে মোট ৮২৪ জন বিচারপতি আছেন। তাঁদের মধ্যে ৩৪ জন হলেন সুপ্রিম কোর্টের বিচারপতি আর ৭৩০ জন হাই কোর্টের। দেশের সুপ্রিম কোর্ট ও হাইকোর্টে ১৩.৪৭ শতাংশ মহিলা বিচারপতি।
