21st Third Eye Asian Film Festival: মুম্বইতে শুরু থার্ড আই এশিয়ান ফিল্ম ফেস্টিভ্যালের ২১ তম সংস্করণ, জাভেদ আখতার পাবেন এশিয়ান সিনেমা কালচার অ্যাওয়ার্ড
আজ থেকে মুম্বইতে শুরু হচ্ছে থার্ড আই এশিয়ান ফিল্ম ফেস্টিভ্যালের ২১তম সংস্করণ। উৎসবের উদ্বোধনী চলচ্চিত্র হিসাবে দেখান হবে প্রশংসিত চিনা সিনেমা দ্য ব্ল্যাক ডগ (The Black Dog) যা কান চলচ্চিত্র উৎসবে সেরা চলচ্চিত্রের পুরস্কার জিতেছে। উৎসবের জন্য মোট ৬১টি চলচ্চিত্র বাছাই করা হয়েছে। যা আজ থেকে এই মাসের ১৬ তারিখ পর্যন্ত চলবে। আন্ধেরি, সায়ন এবং থানের হলগুলিতে সিনেমাগুলি স্ক্রীনিংয়ের সময়সূচি ঠিক করা হয়েছে।
এশিয়ান স্পেকট্রাম বিভাগে চীন, মালয়েশিয়া, বাংলাদেশ, কাজাখস্তান, তিউনিসিয়া এবং ভুটান সহ বিভিন্ন দেশের চলচ্চিত্র প্রদর্শিত হবে, যেখানে বিভিন্ন ধরনের গল্প বলার শৈলী প্রদর্শন করা হবে। কান্ট্রি ফোকাস বিভাগে দক্ষিণ কোরিয়াকে হাইলাইট করা হবে, এর ছয়টি চলচ্চিত্র প্রদর্শন করা হবে। প্রখ্যাত গীতিকার ও চিত্রনাট্যকার জাভেদ আখতার এশিয়ান সিনেমা কালচার অ্যাওয়ার্ডে সম্মানিত হবেন এবং সাংবাদিক রফিক বাগদাদি সত্যজিৎ রায় মেমোরিয়াল অ্যাওয়ার্ড পাবেন। এছাড়া এই উত্সবে জুরি সদস্যদের সাথে উন্মুক্ত ফোরাম, শিল্প বিশেষজ্ঞদের সাথে মাস্টারক্লাস এবং বিশেষ স্ক্রিনিংও থাকবে।
