Rajasthan : স্ত্রীকে হত্যার অভিযোগে যাবজ্জীবন কারাদন্ড, নির্দোষ প্রমাণিত হওয়া ব্যক্তিকে ক্ষতিপূরণের নির্দেশ রাজস্থান হাইকোর্টের
নির্দোষ প্রমাণিত হওয়া ব্যক্তিকে তিনমাসের মধ্যে ক্ষতিপূরণের নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে রাজস্থান সরকারকে
স্ত্রীকে হত্যার অভিযোগে ছিল অভিযুক্তের বিরুদ্ধে যার কারণে প্রায় ১২ বছর ধরে জেল খাটছিল সে। কিন্তু এতদিন পরে বেরিয়ে আসে আসল তথ্য, যেখানে তার বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ মিথ্যে প্রমাণিত হয়।
তাই রাজস্থান হাইকোর্টের (Rajasthan Highcourt) তরফে রাজ্যসরকারের কাছে ওই ব্যক্তিকে ২৫ লক্ষ টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণের নির্দেশ দেয়।তিনমাসের মধ্যে এই ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়ার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
এর পাশাপাশি নিম্ন আদালতের যাবৎজ্জীবন কারাবাসের যে আদেশ জারি করা হয়েছিল তা খারিজ করেছে রাজস্থান হাইকোর্ট।
