রাহুল গান্ধী দেশজুড়ে "ভারত জোড়ো যাত্রা" শুরু করেছেন বেশ কয়েকদিন হল। এই "ভারত জোড়ো যাত্রা"-র জন্য ফান্ড গঠন করতে জন সাধরণের থেকেই চাঁদা তুলছেন কংগ্রেস কর্মীরা। আর সেই চাঁদা তুলতে গিয়ে বিতর্কে জড়ালেন কোল্লামের বেশ কয়েকজন কংগ্রেস কর্মী। তাঁদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ, সবজি বিক্রেতার থেকে ২০০০ টাকা চাঁদা আদায় করতে না পেরে তাঁকেে মেরেছেন তিন কংগ্রেসকর্মী (Kerala Congress Workers Thrash Vegetable Vendor)। সেই সবজি বিক্রেতা "ভারত জোড়ো যাত্রা"-র জনন্য ৫০০-র বেশি চাঁদা দিতে পারেননি। এই অপরাধে তাঁকে মার খেতে হয়েছে। এনিয়ে থানায় অভিযোগও দায়ের হয়েছে।
