লোকসভা নির্বাচনের (Loksabha Election) চতুর্থ দফার মাঝে সোমবার উত্তর ২৪ পরগনার বনগাঁয় হাজির হন মমতা বন্দ্য়োপাধ্যায় (Mamata Banerjee)। বনগাঁর জনসভায় হাজির হয়ে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, বাংলায় তিনি কোনওভাবে এনআরসি হতে দেবেন না। এনআরসি করে অসম থেকে ১৯ লক্ষ বাঙালির নাম বাদ গিয়েছে। তাঁকে যদি কেউ তাঁর বাবা, মায়ের জন্মদিন বলতে পারেন, শংসাপত্র দেখাতে বলেন, তাহলে তিনি পারবেন না। ফলে বাংলায় কোনওভাবে এনআরসি হতে দেবেন না বলে স্পষ্ট জানান মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।
