Salman Rushdie: নিউইয়র্কে আততায়ীর হাতে ছুরিবিদ্ধ সলমন রুশদি, আশঙ্কাজনক অবস্থায় ভর্তি হাসপাতালে

মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের নিউ ইয়র্কে ছুরিবিদ্ধ হলেন বুকারজয়ী বিশ্বখ্যাত লেখক সলমন রুশদি। মঞ্চে বক্তৃতা দিতে ওঠা ৭৫ বছর বয়সী রুশদির ওপর আচমকাই হামলা করেন এক আততায়ী। মঞ্চে এক ব্যক্তির সঙ্গে পরিচয় করানো হচ্ছিল রুশদিকে। সেই সময় তাঁর উপর ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ে ছুরি নিয়ে হামলা করেন দুষ্কৃতী।
