করোনার নয়া প্রজাতি ওমিক্রন এখন রীতিমতো আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়েছে বিশ্বজুড়ে। এই কারণে আসন্ন সমস্ত ছুটির পরিকল্পনা বাতিল করেছেন বিল গেটস (Bill Gates)। এই ধন কুবের একের পর এক টুইট শেয়ার করে জানিয়েছেন, " করোনার নয়া প্রজাতি ওমিক্রনের সংক্রমণ ক্ষমতা মারাত্মক। পৃথিবীর ইতিহাসে যতরকম ভাইরাসের উল্লেখ পাওয়া যায়. তাদের সবকটি থেকে অনেক বেশি দ্রুততার সঙ্গে ছড়ায় এই নয়া প্রজাতি। খুব শিগগির পৃথিবীর প্রতিটি দেশে ওমিক্রনের থাবা পড়বে। তাই এই সমূহ বিপদ সম্পর্কে আমাদের সচেতন হতে হবে। যদিও ভাইরাসের কারণে সমস্ত ছুটির পরিকল্পনা বাতিল করা রীতিমতো হতাশাজনক। তবে আশা করছি, ভাইরাস একদিন শেষ হবে।"
