কমনওয়েলথ গেমস ২০২২ (Commonwealth Games 2022)-র জন্য যোগ্যতা অর্জন করলেন ভারতের ভারত্তোলোক সাইখোম মীরাবাই চানু (Saikhom Mirabai Chanu)। টোকিও অলিম্পিক্সে রুপো পদক বিজয়ী চানু নিজেই টুইট করে এই খবর জানিয়েছেন। শুক্রবার সিঙ্গাপুর ভারত্তোলন আন্তর্জাতিকে ৫৫ কেজি ওজন বিভাগে সোনা জেতেন চানু। এরপর টুইটে লেখেন, "ছয় মাসের তীব্র প্রশিক্ষণ এবং খেলাধুলার প্রতি অফুরন্ত ভালবাসার কারণে আমি কমনওয়েলথ গেমসে জন্য যোগ্যতা অর্জন করেছি।"
