মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের (US) ক্যালিফোর্নিয়া (California ) থেকে অপহরণ করা হল ৮ মাসের এক শিশুকে। ৮ মাসের শিশুর পাশাপাশি আরও ৩ জনকে ক্যালিফোর্নিয়া থেকে অপহরণ করা হয়। সোমবারের অপহরণের ঘটনা থেকে চাঞ্চল্য ছড়ায়। ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ার স্থানীয় প্রশাসনের তরফে জানানো হয়, সোমবার জসদীপ সিং, জ্যাসলিন কউর, আমনদীপ সিং এবং ৮ মাসের আরোহী সিংকে অপহরণ করা হয়। সশস্ত্র কোনও দুষ্কৃতী ক্যালিফার্নিয়া থেকে ওই ৪ জনকে অপহরণ করে। তবে কে বা কারা এই ঘটনার সঙ্গে যুক্ত, সে বিষয়ে এখনও পর্যন্ত স্পষ্ট করে কোনও তথ্য মেলেনি। ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ার কোনও রেস্তারাঁ থেকেই ওই ৪ জনকে অপহরণ করা হয় বলে খবর।
