ঘূর্ণিঝড় দাপিয়ে বেড়াচ্ছে পূর্ব আফ্রিকায়। পূর্ব আফ্রিকার মালাউই Malawi) এবং মোজাম্বিকে (Mozambique) দাপিয়ে বেড়াচ্ছে ঘূর্ণিঝড় ফ্রেডি (Cyclone Freddy)। গত কয়েকদিন ধরে এক নাগাড়ে দাপট দেখাচ্ছে ফ্রেডি। ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের দাপটে মালাউই এবং মোজাম্বিকে ইতিমধ্যেই ১৫ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। তবে অসমর্থিত সূত্রে ফ্রেডির জেরে নিহতের সংখ্যা আরও বেশি।
