বঙ্গের আবহাওয়ায় দেখা দিচ্ছে বড় বদল। বৈশাখে হানা দিতে পারে সাইক্লোন (Cyclone) অর্থাৎ ঘূর্ণিঝড়। ২৮ এপ্রিল থেকে ৪ মে-র মধ্যে এই উপক্রান্তীয় ঘূর্ণিঝড় হানা দিতে পারে। মধ্য এবং পূর্ব ভারতের যে কোনও জায়গায় এই ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের প্রভাব পড়বে। সেই সঙ্গে তার আশপাশের রাজ্যগুলিতেও হবে বৃষ্টি। মধ্য এবং পূর্ব ভারতের যে জায়গাগুলিতে ঘূর্ণিঝড় আছড়ে পড়তে পারে, তার মধ্যে রয়েছে, বিহার, ঝাড়খণ্ড, ওড়িশা, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ (West Bengal Weather Update), উত্তর প্রদেশ, রাজস্থান, উত্তর মধ্যপ্রদেশ, অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ। এই সমস্ত রাজ্যগুলিতে বৃষ্টিপাতের সম্ভাবনাও রয়েছে বলে খবর। এসবের পাশাপাশি দক্ষিণের কর্ণাটক, কেরালা, তামিলনাড়ু, তেলেঙ্গানাতেও বৃষ্টি হবে। মধ্যপ্রদেশেও বৃষ্টিপাতের সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে প্রবল বলে জানা যাচ্ছে। সেই সঙ্গে দিল্লি, হরিয়ানা, পাঞ্জাব, উত্তরাখণ্ড এবং জম্মু কাশ্মীরে বৃষ্টির সঙ্গে ঝোড়ো হাওয়া বইতে পারে বলে সতর্কতা রয়েছে।
