মালদা: লোকসভা নির্বাচনের সাত দফা ভোটের আজ দ্বিতীয় পর্ব। উত্তরবঙ্গে (North Bengal) চলছে লোকসভা ভোট গ্রহণ। এরই মধ্যে মালদায় প্রচারে এসেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Prime Minister Narendra Modi)। সভা স্থলে ভিড় উপচে পড়ে। বাংলার মানুষের উৎসাহ দেখেই আপ্লুত হয়ে পড়েন নরেন্দ্র মোদী। সভায় প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী বলেন, ‘আপনারা এত ভালোবাসা দিচ্ছেন, মনে হচ্ছে আমি হয় আগের জন্মে বাংলায় জন্মেছি নয়তো পরবর্তীতে বাংলার মায়ের কোলে জন্ম নিতে যাচ্ছি। এত ভালোবাসা আমি কখনোই পাইনি।' সভায় অংশ নেওয়ার পর প্রধানমন্ত্রী উত্তরবঙ্গে রোড শো (Roadshow) করেছেন। এই ভীষণ তপ্ত রোদের মধ্যেও প্রধান মন্ত্রীকে একঝলক দেখতে অসংখ্য মানুষ ভিড় করেন।
