পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের (Partha Chatterjee) ঘনিষ্ঠ অর্পিতা মুখোপাধ্যায়কে (Arpita Mukherjee) যাতে হেফাজতে নেওয়া যায়, সেই আবেদন জানাবে ইডি (ED)। অর্পিতা মুখোপাধ্যায়কে ব্যাঙ্কশাল কোর্টে নিয়ে যাওয়ার পর যাতে হেফাজতে নেওয়া যায়, সেই আবেদন জানানো হবে কেন্দ্রীয় তদন্তকারী সংস্থার তরফে। প্রসঙ্গত পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের ঘনিষ্ঠর বাড়ি থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয় ২১ কোটি ২০ লক্ষ। ওই ঘটনার পর থেকেই চাঞ্চল্য ছড়ায়।
