বাংলাদেশের সীমান্তবর্তী উত্তরবঙ্গের প্রত্যন্ত এলাকাগুলিতে গাঁজা চাষ করা হয়। তারপর সেই গাঁজা পাচার করা হত বাংলাদেশ-সহ ভারতের বিভিন্ন জায়গায়।
