রবিবার পদত্যাগ করলেন (Resigned) যাদবপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (Jadavpur University) ডিন অফ সায়েন্স (Dean of Science) সুবিনয় চক্রবর্তী (Subenoy Chakraborty)। ছাত্র মৃত্যুর (student's death) ঘটনার তদন্তের জন্য গঠিত ১০ সদস্যের কমিটির (inquiry committee) মাথায় বসানো হয়েছিল তাঁকে। কিন্তু, সেই কমিটির রিপোর্ট প্রকাশিত হওয়ার আগেই নিজের পদ থেকে পদত্যাগ করলেন সুবিনয় চক্রবর্তী।
