আরজি কর (RG Kar Medical College and Hospital) কাণ্ডে নিহত চিকিৎসকদের পরিবারের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে সোদপুর গেলেন । বুধবার রাতে মৃতা তরুণীর মা-বাবার সঙ্গে দেখা করলেন তিনি। রাজ্যপাল বলেন, "আমি দিল্লি থেকে এসে সোজা মেয়েটির বাবা-মায়ের সঙ্গে দেখা করেছি। ওনাদের অনুভুতি বুঝতে পেরেছি। ওনারা কিছু কথা বলেছেন সেগুলি আপাতত গোপন রেখেছি। আমি গোটা বিষয় নিয়ে মুখ্যমন্ত্রীকে মুখবন্ধ খামে চিঠি পাঠিয়েছি। এখন আপনাদের সঙ্গে সংবাদ মাধ্যমের সামনে এই বিষয়ে কিছু বলতে পারছি না"।
