বিতর্কিত মন্তব্যের জেরে এবার বিজেপির সায়ন্তন বসুকে নোটিস পাঠালো নির্বাচন কমিশন। উত্তর ২৪ পরগনার একটি জনসভায় শীতলকুচি নিয়ে তিনি বিতর্কিত মন্তব্য করেন। "বাংলার মানুষকে সরাসরি হুমকি" দেওয়া হয়েছে অভিযোগ তুলে নোটিস পাঠিয়ে তাঁর কাছে ব্যাখ্যা চেয়ে পাঠানো হয়।
