সংগীত শিল্পী লতা মঙ্গেশকরের (Lata Mangeshka) প্রয়াণে শোকপ্রকাশ করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। তিনি টুইটে লেখেন, "আমি ভারতের প্রয়াত আইকন, ভারতরত্ন লতা মঙ্গেশকরকে আমার হৃদয়গ্রাহী শ্রদ্ধা জানাই। তাঁর পরিবার এবং কোটি কোটি প্রশংসকদের প্রতি আমার আন্তরিক সমবেদনা জানাচ্ছি ,যাদের তিনি সারা বিশ্বে রেখে গিয়েছেন। আমি ভারতের নাইটিঙ্গেলের মৃত্যুতে আমি গভীর দুঃখ প্রকাশ করছি। বিশ্বজুড়ে তাঁর সমস্ত ভক্ত এবং অনুগামীদের মতো আমিও তাঁর কণ্ঠস্বর এবং রেন্ডারিংয়ের মন্ত্রমুগ্ধ ছিলাম। আমি কৃতজ্ঞ বোধ করেছি যে তিনি বাংলা এবং পূর্ব ভারতের শিল্পীদের তাঁর হৃদয়ে রেখেছিলেন এবং দুর্দান্ত সংগীত জগতের অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ করেছিলেন।"
