দোলের দিন কোমর বেঁধে প্রচারে মাঠে নেমেছেন অর্জুন সিংহ। দলীয় কর্মীদের সঙ্গে রঙ খেলতেও দেখা গেল তাঁকে।
ব্যারাকপুর (Barrackpore) থেকে লোকসভার টিকিট মেলেনি বলে তৃণমূল ছেড়ে বিজেপি-তে যোগ দিয়েছেন অর্জুন সিংহ (Arjun Singh)। সেই ব্যারাকপুর থেকে শেষমেশ মোদী সরকার প্রার্থী করেছে অর্জুনকে। অন্যদিকে ওই আসনে তৃণমূল প্রার্থী করেছে পার্থ ভৌমিককে। ব্যারাকপুর কেন্দ্র নিয়ে এখনও আসন সমঝোতায় পৌঁছতে পারেনি সিপিএম এবং কংগ্রেস। দোলের দিন কোমর বেঁধে প্রচারে মাঠে নেমেছেন অর্জুন সিংহ। এদিন নৈহাটিতে বড়মার মন্দিরে পুজো দিয়ে প্রচার শুরু করলেন অর্জুন। দলীয় কর্মীদের সঙ্গে রঙ খেলতেও দেখা গেল তাঁকে।
