ফ্লোরিডার কেপ ক্যানাভেরালে নাসার কেনেডি স্পেস সেন্টার থেকে বুধবার রাত ৮ টায় (ভারতে বৃহস্পতিবার ভোর ৫ টা ৩২ মিনিটে) উৎক্ষেপণ হয় ড্রাগন মহাকাশযানের।
৩ দিন ধরে পৃথিবীকে প্রদক্ষিণ করার পর পৃথিবীতে চার নভশ্চর। স্পেসএক্স-র (SpaceX) ড্রাগন মহাকাশযানে (Dragon spacecraft) চড়ে তাঁরা পৃথিবীকে প্রদক্ষিণ করেছেন তিনদিন। চারজনই মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ফ্লোরিডা উপকূলে আটলান্টিক মহাসাগরে নিরাপদে অবতরণ করেন।
