২০২২ সালের ডিসেম্বরের শেষ দিনে ভয়াবহ পথ দুর্ঘটনায় মৃত্যু মুখে ঢলে পড়েছিলেন ভারতের তারকা ক্রিকেটার ঋষভ পন্থ (Rishabh Pant)। একবারে বরাত জোরে জীবনে বেঁচে গেলেও পন্থ কোনওদিন মাঠে নামতে পারবেন তা ভাবা যায়নি। কিন্তু দুর্ঘটনার বছর মাস ১৫ বাদেই ফের মাঠে নামতে চলেছেন পন্থ। সব ধরনের পরীক্ষার পর পন্থকে পুরোপুরি ফিট বলে ঘোষণা করল এনসিএ। ফলে দিল্লির তারকা উইকেটকিপার-ব্যাটারের আর মাঠে নামা নিয়ে কোনও সংশয় থাকল না। আইপিএলে শুরু থেকেই দিল্লি ক্যাপিটালসের হয়ে খেলতে পারবেন পন্থ। তবে তিনি এখনই উইকেটকিপিং করবে না। শুধু ব্যাটিং করতে দেখা যাবে তাঁকে।
