Mohammed Siraj: ভাইজাগ থেকে সিরাজকে ছুটি, যোগ দেবেন রাজকোটে
আজ, শুক্রবার থেকে ভাইজাগে শুরু হওয়া ভারত-ইংল্যান্ড টেস্ট সিরিজের দ্বিতীয় ম্যাচে খেলানো হল না মহম্মদ সিরাজ-কে।
আজ, শুক্রবার থেকে ভাইজাগে শুরু হওয়া ভারত-ইংল্যান্ড টেস্ট সিরিজের দ্বিতীয় ম্যাচে খেলানো হল না মহম্মদ সিরাজ (Mohammed Siraj)-কে। সিরাজের জায়গায় টিম ইন্ডিয়ার প্রথম একাদশে জায়গা পেয়েছেন মুকেশ কুমার। সিরাজকে ভাইজাগে টিম ইন্ডিয়ার স্কোয়াড থেকে ছেড়ে দেওয়া হল। সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া পোস্টের মাধ্যমে বিসিসিআই জানিয়েছে, পাঁচ ম্যাচে দীর্ঘ সিরিজের কথা মাথায় রেখে সিরাজকে ভাইজাগকে টিম ইন্ডিয়া স্কোয়াড থেকে বিশ্রাম দেওয়া হল।
সাম্প্রতিককালে তিনি যেভাবে টানা খেলে চলেছেন, সে কথা মাথা রেখেই তাঁকে ছুটি দেওয়া হল বলে বোর্ডের বক্তব্য। ১৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি রাজকোটে চলতি টেস্ট সিরিজের তৃতীয় ম্যাচ থেকেই সিরাজ টিম ইন্ডিয়ার স্কোয়াডে যোগ দেবেন বলে বোর্ড জানিয়েছেন।
