পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচন নিয়ে নিজের ক্ষোভ উগরে দিলেন রাজ্যপাল সিভি আনন্দ বোস। সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনের মাধ্যমে তিনি জানান, সরেজমিনে তিনি যা দেখলেন তা অত্যন্ত ভয়ানক, এখানে শুধু হিংসা আর খুন, আরও একটা জিনিস লক্ষ্য করা গেল যে গরীব মানুষেরাই মরছে এবং গরীবরাই মারছে। আমাদের দারিদ্রতা শেষ করা উচিত কিন্তু এর বদলে আমরা গরীবকে মারছি।বাংলা এটার যোগ্য নয়।
সকাল থেকেই ভোটের ময়দানে মাঠে নেমে পড়েছিলেন রাজ্যপাল। বিভিন্ন বুথে ঘোরার পাশাপাশি বিরোধী মানুষদের কথাও শোনেন রাজ্যপাল।
