Sudden Death in Pune: নবরাত্রি (Navratri 2024) উপলক্ষ্যে গারবা (Garba) নাচতে গিয়ে হৃদরোগে (Heart Attack) মৃত্যু হল এক নৃত্যশিল্পীর। মহারাষ্ট্রের পুনে (Pune) জেলার জনপ্রিয় গারবা নৃত্যশিল্পী অশোক মালির মৃত্যু হয়েছে নাচের পারফর্মেন্স চলাকালীনই। সোমবার সন্ধ্যায় নবরাত্রি উপলক্ষ্যে পুনের চাকনে গারবা অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়ছিল। সেখানে এক খুদের সঙ্গে পা মিলিয়ে গারবা নাচছিলেন অশোক। আচমকা মাটিতে লুটিয়ে পড়েন তিনি। তড়িঘড়ি তাঁকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয় নিকটবর্তী হাসপাতালে। তবে শেষরক্ষা হয়নি। চিকিৎসকেরা অশোক মালিকে মৃত বলে ঘোষণা করেন। গারবা নাচতে নাচতেই চলে গেলেন পুনের 'গারবা কিং'।
