ভারতের বৈজ্ঞানিক সাফল্যের কথা তুলে ধরে প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী বলেন, ১৯৬৩ সালে একটি ছোট রকেট উৎক্ষেপণের পর থেকে দেশ অনেক দূর এগিয়েছে। ২০১৪ সালে প্রথম প্রচেষ্টায় মঙ্গল গ্রহে পৌঁছে ভারত ইতিহাস তৈরি করেছে, চন্দ্রযান-১ এর মাধ্যমে চাঁদে জল আবিষ্কার করেছে, চন্দ্রযান-২ এর মাধ্যমে চাঁদের সর্বোচ্চ রেজোলিউশনের ছবি তুলেছে এবং চন্দ্রযান-৩ এর মাধ্যমে চাঁদের দক্ষিণ মেরু সম্পর্কে বিশ্বের ধারণা আরও গভীর করেছে।
