তিস্তার নদীর প্রবল তাণ্ডবে কালিম্পংয়ের তিস্তা বাজার এলাকায় ব্যাপক ক্ষয়ক্ষতির মুখে পড়েছে। ভেসে গিয়েছে যানবাহন। কাদায় চাপা পড়েছে ঘরবাড়ি। চলছে উদ্ধার কাজ।
টানা বৃষ্টি ও ধসের জেরে লণ্ডভণ্ড হয়ে গিয়েছে উত্তরবঙ্গ ও সংলগ্ন সিকিম (Sikkim Flood)। বিধ্বস্ত অবস্থা কালিম্পং, দার্জিলিংয়ের মত বাঙালির ভ্রমণ প্রিয় পর্যটন কেন্দ্রগুলোর। তিস্তার নদীর প্রবল তাণ্ডবে কালিম্পংয়ের তিস্তা বাজার এলাকায় ব্যাপক ক্ষয়ক্ষতির মুখে পড়েছে। ভেসে গিয়েছে যানবাহন। কাদায় চাপা পড়েছে ঘরবাড়ি। চলছে উদ্ধার কাজ।
