ঝাড়খণ্ডের (Jharkhand) মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পদে শপথ নিলেন হেমন্ত সোরেন (Hemant Soren)। জেএমএম প্রধান শিবু সোরেনের উপস্থিতিতে ঝাড়খণ্ডের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পদে শপথ গ্রহণ করেন হেমন্ত। জমি দুর্নীতি মামলায় জামিন পেয়ে গত ২৮ জুন ঝাড়খণ্ডের বীরসা মুন্ডা জেল থেকে বের হন হেমন্ত। জেল থেকে বেরনোর পর ৩ জুলাই চম্পই সোরেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রীত্ব থেকে ইস্তফা দিতেই ৪ জুলাই বিকেলে ঝাড়খণ্ডের দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেন হেমন্ত সোরেন।
