ভারতীয় প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের কর্মকর্তারা এবং ভারতে নিযুক্ত ফ্রান্সের রাষ্ট্রদূত স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠানে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করবেন।
নয়াদিল্লি: ভারত আজ ফ্রান্স (India-France) থেকে ৬৩,০০০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি মূল্যে ২৬টি রাফাল মেরিন যুদ্ধবিমান (Rafale Marine Fighter Jets) কেনার জন্য প্রতিরক্ষা চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর করতে চলেছে। সূত্রে খবর, প্রতিরক্ষা সচিব রাজেশ কুমার সিং এবং ফ্রান্সের রাষ্ট্রদূত থিয়েরি ম্যাথু স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করবেন। প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর নেতৃত্বে নিরাপত্তা সংক্রান্ত মন্ত্রিসভা কমিটি এপ্রিলের শুরুর দিকে এই চুক্তির অনুমোদন করেন।
রাফালে এম জেটগুলি আইএনএস বিক্রান্ত থেকে পরিচালিত হবে এবং মিগ-২৯ কে বহরকে সমর্থন করবে। ভারতীয় বিমান বাহিনী ইতিমধ্যেই ২০১৬ সালে স্বাক্ষরিত একটি পৃথক চুক্তির অধীনে ৩৬টি রাফালে বিমানের একটি বহর পরিচালনা করছে। এই বিমানগুলি আম্বালা এবং হাসিমারায় অবস্থিত।
