কর্ণাটকের স্কুলে হিজাব নিষিদ্ধ করা নিয়ে এবার বিজেপির বিরুদ্ধে সরব জম্মু-কাশ্মীরের প্রাক্তন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মেহবুবা মুফতি (Mehbooba Mufti)। শ্রীনগরে সাংবাদিক সম্মেনে পিডিপি প্রধান মফতি বললেন, "আমার ভয় হয় বিজেপি হয়তো হিজাবেই থেমে থাকবে না। ওরা এবার মুসলমিদের সব চিহ্নই মুছে দেবে। ভারতীয় মুসলিমদের এখন আর ভারতীয় হওয়াই যথেষ্ট নয়, তাদের বিজেপিরও হতে হয়।"
