শেষ পর্যন্ত জয়ী হলেন ভিনেশ ফোগট (Vinesh Phogat)। হরিয়ানার (Haryana Assembly Elections Results 2024) জুলনা (Julana) বিধানসভা কেন্দ্র থেকে ৬ হাজারের বেশি ভোটে জয়ী হন প্রাক্তন কুস্তিগীর। মঙ্গলবার গণনা শুরু হতেই হাড্ডাহাড্ডি লড়াই শুরু হয়। হরিয়ানায় প্রথমে কংগ্রেস এগিয়ে গেলেও, পর লড়াইয়ে ফেরে বিজেপি (BJP)। এরপর থেকে বিজেপির সঙ্গে কংগ্রেসের ব্যাবধান বাড়তে থাকে। হরিয়ানার বিধানসভা আসনগুলির মধ্যে যেখানে সবচেয়ে বেশি নজর ছিল, সেটি হল জুলনা। এবার সেই জুলনা কেন্দ্র থেকে ৬ হাজারের বেশি ভোটে ভিনেশ নিজের নিকটতম প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বীকে পরাস্ত করেন। ভিনেশের জয়ের খবর প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই উচ্ছ্বাসে মেতে ওঠেন কংগ্রেসের কর্মী, সমর্থকরা।
