তামিলনাড়ুর রামেশ্বরমের পামবোনে রবিবার সকালে নৌকা ধরার বোটে ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণ্ড। পামবোনের সেই সমুদ্র সৈকতে পরপর বেশ কয়েকটি বোট বা নৌকা বেঁধে রাখা থাকে। রাতে মাছ ধরার পর মৎস্যজীবীরা সেই বোটগুলি পান বনের সমুদ্র সৈকতের ধারে বেঁধে রেখেছিলেন। সেখানেই কোনভাবে আগুন লেগে যায়। তারপর একটার পর একটা বোটে আগুন লাগতে শুরু করে। আগুন নেভানোর কাজে দমকল বাহিনী নিয়োগ করা হয়। বেশ কয়েক ঘণ্টা পর স্থানীয়দের সাহায্যে নেভে আগুন।
