হিন্দু পঞ্চাঙ্গ অনুসারে শ্রাবণে হিন্দু বর্ষের পঞ্চম মাস। এই সময় ভগবান শিবের পূজা যাঁরা করেন, তাঁদের সমস্ত মনোকামনা পূরণ হয়।
পঞ্জিকা মতে শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে শ্রাবণ মাস। আর আজ সেই মাসের দ্বিতীয় সোমবার। হিন্দু পঞ্চাঙ্গ অনুসারে শ্রাবণে হিন্দু বর্ষের পঞ্চম মাস। এই সময় ভগবান শিবের পূজা যাঁরা করেন, তাঁদের সমস্ত মনোকামনা পূরণ হয়। সোমবারের এই পুণ্যতিথিতে কাশী বিশ্বনাথ মন্দিরে ভক্তরা প্রার্থনা করছেন৷ গঙ্গাবক্ষ থেকে জল তুলে এনে মহাদেবের জলাভিষেক করছেন। দেখুন সেই ছবি-
