আজ ইদ-উল-আধা বা বকরি ইদ (Eid al-Adha)। সারা বিশ্বে মুসলিম ধর্মালম্বীরা আজকের দিনটি নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে পালন করছে। বকরি ইদ (Bakri Eid) ত্যাগের উৎসব। অনেকে একে কোরবানির ইদ বলেও জানে। ইসলাম ধর্মের বড় উৎসবের মধ্যে কোরবানির ইদ একটি। রমজান মাস শেষ হবার মোটামুটি ৭০ দিনের মধ্যে বকরি ইদ পালন করা হয়। আকাশে নতুন চাঁদের ফালি ফুটে ওঠার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বিভিন্ন দেশে মুসলিম ধর্মাবলম্বীরা এই উত্সব পালন করে। বকরি ইদ উপলক্ষে দিল্লির জামা মসজিদ (Jama Masjid), ফতেপুরী মসজিদ, উমর মসজিদ (Umar Masjid) ও জাহাঙ্গারপুরী মসজিদে (Jahangirpuri mosque) আজ সকালে বিশেষ নামাজের আয়োজন করা হয়।
