দ্বারভাঙা থেকে মুম্বইগামী (Mumbai) স্পাইসজেটের (Spicejet) একটি বিমানকে জরুরি অবতরণ করানো হয় বারাণসীতে। দ্বারভাঙা থেকে মুম্বইতে ওড়ার পর বিমানের মধ্যে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়েন কলাবতী দেবী নামে ৮৫ বছরের এক বৃদ্ধা। অসুস্থ হওয়ার পর বিমানের মদ্যেই তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়। ওই ঘটনার পরপরই স্পাইসজেটের বিমানটিকে মুম্বইতে তড়িঘড়ি অবতরণ করানো হয়। বিমানে নিজের নাতির সঙ্গে ছিলেন কলাবতী দেবী। তবে শেষরক্ষা হয়নি। অসুস্থ হওয়ার পর বিমানের মধ্যেই তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়।
