আরব সাগরে (Arabian Sea) তৈরি হচ্ছে ঘূর্ণিঝড় অর্থাৎ সাইক্লোন (Cyclone)। আরব সাগরে নতুন করে যে ঘূর্ণিঝড় তৈরি হচ্ছে, তার নাম শক্তি (Cyclone Shakti)। শক্তির হাত ধরেই আরব সাগরে এই সালের প্রথম ঘূর্ণিঝড় তৈরি হচ্ছে। উত্তর আরব সাগরে শক্তি বাড়িয়ে এই সাইক্লোন এগিয়ে আসছে। যা নিয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই সতর্কতা জারি করা হয়েছে আবহাওয়া দফতরের তরফে। আগামী ২৪ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে এই ঘূর্ণিঝড় অত্যন্ত সক্রিয় হয়ে উঠবে বলে জানানো হয় আবহাওয়া দফতরের তরফে। আগামী ৫ অক্টোবরের মধ্যে এই ঘূর্ণিঝড় স্থলভাগে আছড়ে পড়তে পারে বলে আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছে হাওয়া অফিসের তরফে।
