সীমান্তের ওপার থেকে মাঝে মধ্যেই ড্রোনের মাধ্যমে মাদক ও অস্ত্র ভারতে পাচারের চেষ্টা করে পাকিস্তান। কিন্তু, বেশিরভাগ সময়ই সেইসব চেষ্টা রুখে দেন ভারতীয় সীমান্তে মোতায়েন বর্ডার সিকিউরিটি ফোর্সের জওয়ানরা। শুক্রবারও সেই ঘটনা ঘটল।

শুক্রবার সকালে পাঞ্জাবের (Punjab) গুরদাসপুরে (Gurdaspur) অবস্থিত আন্তর্জাতিক সীমান্তে মোতায়েন বিএসএফ জওয়ানরা একটি ড্রোনের ওড়ার আওয়াজ পাচ্ছিলেন। তাঁরা তল্লাশি শুরু করতেই দেখেন মেটলা এলাকার নাবি নগর (Nabi Nagar) এলাকার কাছে ভারতীয় ভূখণ্ডে প্রবেশ করেছে একটি পাকিস্তানি ড্রোন। সেটিকে গুলি করে নামানোর পর একটি একে সিরিজের রাইফেল, ২ টো ম্যাগাজিন, ৪০ রাউন্ড বুলেট উদ্ধার হয়েছে।
