বাল্য বিবাহ রুখতে অসমে (Assam) কড়া পদক্ষেপ করছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মা (Himanta Biswa Sarma)। অসমে বাল্য বিবাহ রুখতে এবার ৩,০১৫ জনকে গ্রেফতার করল পুলিশ। কসোমবার এমনই ট্যুইট করেন অসমের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মা। প্রসঙ্গত, গোটা রাজ্যের কোথাও বাল্য বিবাহ সহ মহিলাদের উপর অত্যাচারের ঘটনা দেখলেই যাতে পদক্ষেপ করা হয়, সে বিষয়ে অসম পুলিশ নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে বলে জানান হিমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মা।
